9-24-07 - Fort Worth, TX

WOAH!

So yesterday was a busy day. We performed in Richardson, TX which is right outside of Dallas, and it was a crazy day. Only one show so we loaded in, did our show, and loaded out. It was like nonstop until 5pm when we realized we hadn't even eaten yet!

The space was beautiful as well. It was at the Eisemann Center, another sold out performance of about 1,600 people.

The kids today really enjoyed our show. It's an amazing feeling to be on stage in front of so many people and just feel love radiating from the audience. It makes this all worth it.

Six-Flags was also a blast, I'm gonna throw some pictures here on the bottom :-) We're in Texas for a couple more days, so I'm sure you'll get more news soon!

9-22-07 - Dallas, TX

Hello again!

So here we are in Dallas, TX. We had a travel day and a day off, so we've all decided to go to Six Flags Over Texas for the day. I spent last night in so as not to get myself too tired for the park :-)

Load out went much easier than expected on the 20th. It was our first load out so I thought it might be a little difficult, but we got everything on the van and out of there in like 45min, and that was longer than expected cause we fooled around with the pack a little bit.

I was one of the lucky ones to get to go out for a meet and greet after the show. People had driven over an hour and a half from Oklahoma to come see our show! It blew my mind. There was also a cast of children who were going to be doing Seussical at a theatre about an hour away and the whole cast came out to see it. It was awesome getting to see all the kids after the show and how great of a response they gave. This really is a special production, and I can see that after talking to the kids.

Alright, I've bored you enough :) I'll post again soon, and hopefully there will be more pictures to follow! TTYL!

'Till Next Time,
A-R0.

9-20-07 - Alma, AR

Hey Everyone! I'm not normally a blog person, but I thought this was easier for all of my friends and family to check in on me while I'm on the road.

For those of you who don't know, my name is Anthony Romeo. I am currently playing JoJo in the Fall 2007 tour of Seussical the Musical with Theatreworks/USA. The rehearsal process was such a blast and I met some really amazing people! Now that I'm on the road, it's really been great to bond with the cast.

It took us about three days to travel from NYC to Arkansas, stopping overnight in VA and TN. Everyone has been so great and we travel in three HUGE vans which all have names (we'll leave those out for now LOL).

Once in AR, we all loaded our set into our first venue which was the Alma Performing Arts Center. The space was beautiful. It sat about 2,000 people, and we had two sold out performances in the morning. Today, we have an evening show that should be more adults.

It was a great experience. Walking around the Wal-Mart yesterday I got recognized by a little boy who asked me if "I was in the play on stage." It was so adorable.

I really love this production and everything about it. The cast, the story, the music, and the people I've gotten to meet! Stay tuned for more postings and pictures! You'll all know what's going on!

`Till Next Time,
A-Ro.
